One of my favorite colors in a potato is red skin/red flesh.  However, this seems to be a somewhat rare combination.  Most of the potatoes that are supposed to be “red flesh” have produced tubers with pink flesh when grown in my garden.  Plants from Skagit Beets TPS have the potential to produce tubers with red skin and red flesh.  So far, the plants that I harvested show this to be true.  I will be growing more of these TPS next year with the hope of producing tubers that have either more intense red flesh than the #1 plant or a better yield than the #2 plant.
