Blue Victor TPS Harvest

The harvest of Blue Victor TPS was the highest yielding blue potato that I grew in 2015.  The Blue Victor plant also flowered and produced berries.  The tubers are fairly nice, but they do not have exceptionally dark flesh color.  I am keeping this one to grow in 2016, but I plan to drop it from my collection if I get a darker fleshed blue potato.

  1. I read in my great aunt’s journal of her childhood memories in Nebraska in the 1890s on “the Tree Claim”…”It was in early fall, father was digging the potatoes. They were fine, large, what he called blue victors. They seemed to be very productive”.
Just thought you’d find this interesting.
